Since establishment (1919), Comenius University (CU) maintains and widens international relations with significant European educational institutions. CU is the oldest and biggest university educational institution in Slovakia, fulfils the role of “national university” and belongs to the most important European university associations, plays an important role in this field. It is the member of European University Association (EUA), Network of Universities of the Capitals of Europe (UNICA), Utrecht Network, Danube Rector’s Conference (DRC), European Association of International Education (EAIE), Virtual Technology Library Systems (VTLS) and etc. In connection to CU participation in the Lifelong Learning Program/Erasmus program, the number of bilateral agreements entered among faculties of CU and their foreign partners grew considerably. CU has a strong background in the field of Lifelong learning, internal experts as well as strong collaboration with external experts and enterprises and what can contribute and support the successful completion of the project.

The Faculty of Management (FMCU) is the youngest faculty at CU, established in 1991 as a response to the demand for education in the field of management in Master studies as it is in similar schools in the USA as well as around the world. CU entered the SOCRATES program in 1998, and FM CU took part in international projects LLP within the program which were aimed at internship in abroad. The Palm award given by EDUNIVERSAL agency with headquarters in Paris, is given to best managerial schools in the world (it compares more than 12 000 schools, which are chosen from about 20 000 schools). According to the number of Palms a school belongs among the given fifth of best thousand business schools. FMCU has been ranked among 400 best managerial schools with three Palms in the recent years

Michal Greguš

Doc. Michal Greguš, PhD, is the head of the Department of Information Systems Management and Business Processes at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University Bratislava. He is a recognized expert in digital transformation, software engineering, agile management, and IT governance, with extensive experience from both academia and the private sector. He has led and contributed to multiple national and international projects (including Erasmus+ and APVV). His expertise significantly contributes to innovation management, digital solutions, and the methodological quality of the project.

Erika Farenzenová

Ing. Erika Farenzenová works at the Department of Strategic Development, Projects, and Innovation, where she specializes in project coordination and financial management. She has strong experience in the administrative, financial, and reporting aspects of national and EU-funded projects (including Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe). Her role ensures compliance with funding rules, efficient budget management, and smooth project implementation.

Alica Kačmariková

Ing. Alica Kačmariková, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Management and Business Systems, Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava. In her research and teaching activities, she focuses on modern forms of work organization, particularly remote work, including telework and home-based work. She also specializes in the field of knowledge management, with an emphasis on the processes of knowledge creation, sharing, storage, and application within organizations. Through her involvement in the Erasmus+ initiatives, she contributes to the development of academic collaboration, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of innovative approaches in education and work organization.

Peter Štarchoň

Peter Štarchoň, Prof. PhD, acts as the Dean of the FMCU. As the head of the Department of Marketing at the FMCU, he has presented new marketing trends in various research projects with a special emphasis on brands. In 2006, he established the international scientific journal Marketing Science and Inspirations, where he still works as the
editor-in-chief. In addition, he is the author/co-author of several monographs and textbooks on marketing, direct marketing, marketing communications, and branding, and more than six dozen scientific works, studies, and conference contributions.

Diana Gašparík

Mgr. Diana Gašparík, PhD, works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava. Her teaching and research activities focus on entrepreneurship, intergenerational entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

She teaches courses focused on strategies and financing of new ventures, startup and small business management, as well as the development of entrepreneurial competencies in intergenerational teams. She is involved in teaching within both Slovak and English study programmes, including Erasmus and part-time students.
