On 4 and 5 March 2026, the partners of the CHANCE Erasmus+ project gathered for an in-person meeting hosted by NEWTON University at its Prague campus and brought together representatives of the international consortium to collaboratively advance the project’s key outputs. The meeting provided an important opportunity for all partners to align their work and strengthen their cooperation.

The main objective of the CHANCE project is to develop accessible and engaging lifelong learning opportunities, particularly through the creation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) tailored to adults in aged 50+ seeking new entrepreneurial pathways or career opportunities. With this goal in mind, the Prague meeting focused heavily on shaping the structure, content, and delivery of the MOOC.

The first day of the workshop centred on intensive discussions around MOOC development. A key part of the agenda was the review of the project timeline, where partners established concrete milestones to ensure timely completion of the MOOC. Further sessions explored the development of engaging content, as well as the technical aspects of MOOC production, with each partner presenting the e-learning platforms they plan to use.

On the second day, the partners’ focus shifted toward dissemination and implementation, so strategies to effectively promote the project and reach the target audience were discussed. Another important session was dedicated to the development of a methodology for mentors, ensuring that learners receive adequate guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

The two days provided the partners with an opportunity to engage in productive discussions, share expertise, and collaboratively generate new ideas.

In the coming months, the partners will focus on finalizing MOOC content, developing audiovisual materials, and advancing the technical production of the course, alongside implementing dissemination activities to ensure broad outreach and impact.

The CHANCE consortium extends its sincere thanks to NEWTON University for hosting the meeting and for their excellent organization and warm hospitality. The Prague meeting proved to be a highly valuable and motivating experience, marking another important step forward in achieving the project’s goals.
